"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, 'I find no pleasure in them.'" - Ecclesiastes 12:1 (NIV). Trinity Church's Ecc12:1 Youth Ministries has its foundation rooted in this verse. In everything we do, we remember the presence and power of God working in our lives and in our ministry. We acknowledge that our youth are not only "the future" of the church, but also active members of the present. Too many times do many ministries overlook the youth as a crucial element in the Christian community. We at Trinity church encourage our youth to engage in a full-time commitment to God outside of Sunday morning church services, youth group, events, etc. by teaching them to bare constant witness and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ daily. We encourage youth to not only be active, serving members of the Christian church, but also, active, serving leaders. Just as Paul urges Timothy in 1st Timothy 4:12 (NIV) to "set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity," our youth ministry aims to create youth who also set examples to all members of the church. Our youth group time actually consists of two separate events. Youth are welcome at either or both! We have a youth Bible study from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on most Sunday evenings. Followed by a youth fellowship and activity time from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Come join us!
